Chocolate Chip Tahini Pancakes

Vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, nut-free and minimal ingredients. These pancakes are incredibly allergy friendly and so eat to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Ground Flax + 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 cup Chickpea Flour
  • 3/4 cup Oat or Seed Milk
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 serving Nuzest Just Natural Protein *see above notes
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1-2 tbsp Dairy-Free Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together your ground flax and water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to set up.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Let it sit while your skillet preheats over medium heat.

  3. Once your skillet is hot, add a little bit of cooking spray or coconut oil to grease the skillet well before adding dollops of pancake batter. Let the pancakes cook for 1-2 minutes (or until they start to bubble a little) before flipping.

  4. Continue to cook the pancakes until done (about 2 minutes on each side). 

  5. Top your pancakes with whatever you'd like and enjoy hot!
