Can we just all agree that crackers typically come in second place when dips are involved? They’re usually only around because shoveling dip into our mouths with our fingers is slightly frowned upon. I mean…no judgment but I’d judge you. At least use a spoon KWIM?
The good news is that Angelic Bakehouse just flipped the switch on the cracker game. Now you will want to eat the crackers regardless if dip is present. Bold claim. I KNOW. The thing is, their new Sweet & Savory Crisps are packed with so much flavor that dip really is a second thought.
A thought, however, I did think about! With Thanksgiving approaching I’ve had appetizers on my brain and I just KNOW I want to use some of their new crisps.
I’m not quite sure which one I want to showcase or if I’m going to serve a charcuterie board showcasing them all but I’m determined to serve up at least one.
Fig & Tarragon Vinaigrette Crisps are honestly my FAVE. These crisps are one of Angelic Bakehouse’s sweet variation but the sweetness is more of a mild hint. They pair well with an array of different white rind cheeses but my personal perfect pairing is a smear of peppered goat cheese. It’s a simple combination that’s packed full of flavor!
Their Blueberry & Zesty Lemon Crisps – again AMAZING. I’ve loved crumbling a few over a Fall Harvest salad filled with squash, pears and pecans. They add a little crunch and zing (they are legitimately zingy). I’m excited to crush these up and use them as a base for some cheesecake bites in the near future!
Their Pickled Sweet Onion & Beet Crisps are not for the faint of heart in the flavor department. If you like pickled onion, you will 100% not be able to stop eating these. I’m not talking from personal experience, I promise… Pickled Sweet Onion & Beet Crisps with a little cream cheese and deli meat will light up your entire life. Since I don’t typically eat deli meat- I’ve been enjoying them crumbled up over my salads and as a breading for my sweet onion crusted salmon.
Lastly, their Harissa Green Chile & Sweet Potato Crisps deserves some time to shine! Can anyone say taco dip? What about salsa verde soup? Trust me, these crisps crumbled up on either are matches made in heaven. If you are looking to take more of a simpler route, these crisps dipped in some creamy and dreamy hummus…. hummus that I’ve ever so conveniently left a recipe for down below – is the right route to take!

White Bean Pumpkin Hummus
An oil-free flavor filled hummus that will take you under 5 minutes from start to finish!
- 1 15oz can White Beans drained
- 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard sub lemon juice
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Powder omit if you're sensitive to spice
Add all of the ingredients into your food processor and blend until creamy – scraping down the sides if necessary.
