I know what you’re thinking, and the answer is no the icing doesn’t taste like toothepaste.

Unless toothepaste tastes like holiday deliciousness, that is!

RUN don’t walk to the kitchen to make this recipe. Perfectly moist, made with rich cacao, and full of refreshing mint flavor, you’re going to be making this Peppermint Chocolate Loaf on repeat.

Vegan, gluten-free, and totally delicious, it makes the perfect holiday gift as well! Plus, the inclusion of Nuzest protein powder (code: thekellykathleen if you want to save a few bucks, totally optional!) makes it a better-for-you dessert for all the health nuts in your life. It’s the best crowd-pleasing recipe!

To get started, preheat your oven, and line a loaf pan with parchment. In a large bowl, combine all the wet ingredients before adding the dry. Then, pour the batter into your pan, and bake for 40ish minutes.

While the loaf is baking, whip up the frosting. After the loaf has cooled, smother the top with frosting (be sure to lick the spatula after), and enjoy!
