Peanut butter cake with peanut butter frosting… need I say more??

Okay, I might just say one thing.
IT’S GLORIOUS!!! Just look at it. 😍 You can even see the peanut butter swirled throughout the cake. I can’t keep talking about it, I’m drooling all over myself. Make it and you’ll see what I mean 👏

Peanut Butter Mug Cake w/ Peanut Butter Frosting
This cake is a pb lovers DREAM and can be made in under 3 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 egg *See notes to make vegan!
- 1/4 cup peanut butter I used Georgia Grinders (code: kellyk)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp flour I used organic AP flour
- 1-2 tbsp sugar I used monk fruit
Peanut butter frosting (not optional)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp vegan butter melted
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions

Mix the cake ingredients together and pour into a greased ramekin or mug. Microwave on 70% heat for 1.5 to 2 minutes.

While the cake is cooking, whisk together the frosting ingredients.

Pour the frosting over the cake and devour!

*to make VEGAN + GLUTEN-FREE:
Cake Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 2 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 scoop Probiotic Vanilla Clean Lean Protein by Nuzest (code: thekellykathleen)
Frosting and Instructions remain the same!
The cake won’t rise nearly as much and will have an almost doughy texture but I prefer it this way!
