Don’t you just love simple ingredient recipes? Please say yes.

I wanted to come up with a simple recipe because honestly? I was feeling extra lazy.

We ALL have those days. The ones where you have a dinner party later and have everything planned except the dessert. Or maybe you’ve had a rough day at work and need a quick snack. Or maybe it’s none of the above, you’ve just been killin’ it in all things in life but suddenly hit a wall. You know those days?

The don’t come very often but when they do, they hit me hard. This recipe was created after I spent over an hour on creating, making and taking pictures for a recipe that I ended up not liking. IT HAPPENS. That knowledge did stop me from becoming slightly crabby.

Who likes being crappy? NO ONE. That’s who! I knew all I had to do was whip up a killer recipe to lift my mood.

I wanted zero things to do with complicated and knew a nice CBD treat would be perfect for my mood. Because DUH. CBD helps creating all the chill.

Any doodles, chocolate bark isn’t anything new but I love this recipe because you can add WHATEVER! Don’t have CBD infused coconut oil? Use regular. Don’t like pistachios? Use pumpkin seeds, almonds, coconut flakes, dried cherries, goji berries. Like I said…. WHATEVER.

  • 1/2 cup Blue Ridge Hemp Chocolate CBD infused coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower Seed Butter
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 3-4 tbsp Pistachios roughly chopped


  1. Line a 9x5 loaf pan or 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. In a small sauce pan, whisk together the cbd oil and sunflower seed butter over low heat until combined. About 2-3 minutes. 

  3. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the coconut flour and cocoa powder.

  4. Let the pan cool slightly (2 minutes) before placing it in the freezer for an additional 7-10 minutes.

  5. After it has chilled, pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish. 

  6. Topped with the chopped pistachios and place back in the freezer until completely set. About 20 minutes.

  7. Once it has set, break apart and enjoy!

*This recipe is best kept in the fridge! It will last up to 7 days in the fridge or 3 months in an airtight container in the freezer.

    What exactly is the first ingredient—the Blue Ridge Hemp Chocolate CBD? Are there alternatives to this product?

      Hi Abby! The CBD infused chocolate coconut oil is coconut oil that as the added benefits of cbd oil. If you like CBD but don’t have the Blue Ridge Hemp product, you can use regular coconut oil with a dropper full of another company’s CBD oil OR if you don’t want to use CBD at all, simply use regular coconut oil and a little extra cocoa powder (probably a tbsp).
