My husband told me he was over banana recipes…. so, of course, I made another one!
Maybe this way he won’t eat all my treats? Having an entire loaf of banana bread all to myself sounds like a pretty dang good idea to me! Especially when it’s filled with all the goodies WITHOUT a whole lot of ingredients.
Let’s get down to it shall we?
First and foremost, this baby can be whipped up in a blender. No need for 5 million kitchen appliances. Nope, you’ll need just one.
Next, let’s talk about ingredients. A high-quality almond butter (or any nut butter) is a must! I’m a big fan of nut butters that don’t have any added oils (freaking pointless) or sugars! If there is sugar, I like it to come from a natural source like honey or maple syrup.
This recipe is also packed with protein to counteract the sugar from the bananas and the granola (we’ll talk about that next!). Did you know that protein with carbs makes for no crash? You’re welcome. Of course, I used my favorite vegan protein Nuzest in their Just Natural flavor (“ahealthyharmony” saves you 15%). Not all proteins are created equal so I’m sad to say that another protein might not work in this recipe. If you try, please let me know!
The last ingredient we’re going to talk about is the Wildway of Life granola. Now, this granola is one of my favorites because it’s grain-free, vegan and has no added sugars. It’s packed full of healthy fats and it goes in a TON of different flavor combos. For this recipe, I used the Banana Nut grain-free granola but they also have an Espresso flavor that would be amazing in this! Actually… forget I said that. I see a new recipe on the horizon.

Blender Banana Nut Bread
The easiest no mess banana bread on the block
- 2 tbsp Ground Flaxseed
- 1/2 cup + 6 tbsp Water
- 3 small/medium Extra Ripe Bananas
- 2 cups GF Oats
- 1/2 cup Almond Butter
- 1/2 cup Nuzest Just Natural Protein
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2-3/4 cup Wildway of Life Banana Nut Granola or any other grain free granola
Add the ground flax and 6 tbsp of water into your high speed blender. Let the flax set up for 15 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 8×4 loaf pan (you can use 9×5 but it wont be as fluffy!)
In your blender with your flax eggs- add the oats and turn the blender on high until the oats are slightly broken up. About 1 minute.
Add the rest of the ingredients except for the granola. Blend until smooth! The mixture will be very thick- you may need to scrape down the sides a could times.
Pour the granola into the blender (reserving some for the top) and pulse once or twice.
Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and cook in your preheated oven for 55 minutes or until done!
Let it cool completely before slicing and enjoying!
